'Field Trips'
or Forays are periodically (approximately monthly) held when conditions are suitable. Four random sites elected by members and five permanent sites [see below] are studied. These will preceed bi-monthly meetings. Protocols for collecting will strictly adheard to. Fungimap target species will be the main focus.

The aim is to ensure that every member can volunteer to lead a field trip with confidence, knowing what is expected of them as leader.

If you are able to set your camera's file naming format before the start of a foray please do so.
Photograph pre-meeting will commence at 6pm on nights of general meetings for storage of photographs in database.

Long Term Foray Programme:

There are five long-term regular foray study sites covering the ecological diversity that reflects the main habitat types in South East Queensland. A mixture of day and weekend forays are run. These sites rotate dates so that they are visited in each month of the season.
